MDS FARM

Melinda Sise- Head Trainer & Professional Rider

Melinda began riding in the Alpharetta area at age seven, where she quickly developed a love for riding and competing.

Throughout her junior years, Melinda competed in all three rings under the instruction of Sunny Stevens. She was recruited by several colleges and landed at the University of Georgia where she competed in over fences and on the flat, earning two MVP titles, three SEC Championships, and two National Championships.

Upon graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish in 2010, Melinda turned professional and was the Assistant Trainer and Rider for a farm in Cumming, Georgia. A year later, she broke out on her own and created MDS Farm in Alpharetta, GA.

Melinda has had a successful career riding, teaching, and competing, with many students over the years qualifying, competing and placing at numerous national finals.

Emmy Reynolds- Assistant Trainer & Rider

Emmy began riding at age eight while her family was living in Europe. She started out doing pony jumpers and dressage until moving to Georgia at age 14. She adapted to the American ways of riding and started in the equitation and jumper rings here.

As a junior Emmy competed in many 3’6” equitation finals along with junior jumpers and prix classes. In addition to showing as a junior, Emmy partook in EAP each year she was eligible.

In 2016, Emmy went off to Clemson University to study Animal Science where she was also a part of the Equestrian Team. Emmy led her team in the role of vice president and had many successes while competing. In 2020, Emmy graduated and moved back to Georgia to continue riding and competing on her A/O Hunter.

In the spring of 2023, Emmy began riding and teaching professionally for MDS Farm.

Ashley Rolader- Assistant Trainer & Rider

Ashley also began riding at the age of seven and has been riding and competing in the hunters, jumpers, and equitation ever since.

While in high school, Ashley was a working student for her trainer and learned the ins and outs of the business. She also started an IEA team that she competed on while continuing to show her personal horses. Ashley graduated high school early and started her career grooming, riding, and teaching full time.

Since then, Ashley has enjoyed bringing along young horses, coaching IEA teams, and teaching riders safely and correctly to achieve each one’s individual goals. Ashley proudly joined the MDS team as an assistant trainer and rider in 2019!

While Melinda and Emmy are on the road showing, Ashley is available at home to keep our clients and horses going and prepared for the future.
